Mayweather using BALDOMIR as sparring partner for HATTON

Floyd Mayweather's camp are confident their man will stop Ricky Hatton on December 8.

The Pretty Boy's advisor Leonard Ellerbe doesn't expect the eagerly-awaited Las Vegas superfight to go the distance.

And he says Mayweather will prove again that he's the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

Ellerbe told East Side Boxing: "I will tell you this fight isn't going 12 rounds. Period. This fight is country versus country. And I think there is a lot of genuine bad blood between these two fighters and they are going to get the chance to settle that come December 8.

"This fight is the biggest fight that Hatton has ever been in. For Floyd, all he is going to do is be himself and that is the six-time world champion in five different weight classes and undefeated in eight years. Whatever Hatton attempts to do, it won't be good enough."

Ellerbe says Mayweather's preparations for the big showdown in the MGM Grand have been going smoothly.

He added: "We have been working with two former world champions in Lovemore N'dou and Carlos Baldomir
along with some other great young fighters. Camp has been going real well.

"We have no concern about what Ricky Hatton is doing. We are approaching this fight like all the others. Floyd is always in tiptop shape as he always has been. He never takes any fighter lightly.

"He always has the same focus for his opponent no matter who it is and come December 8 he is going to show Ricky Hatton why there are different levels of boxing and why Hatton is not on Floyd's level."

I'm wondering why they would use Baldomir....He's not nearly as fast or as active in the ring as Hatton.

He's using Baldomir and N'Dou because he really believes this nonsense about Hatton being a one-dimensional come-forward boxer who is way too slow. Floyd's going to really suffer if he takes Hatton lightly and I really think that he is. Hatton stops Floyd I think, late on.

And no I don't want to bet "points" on it, don't ask.

n'dou and balodmir are come foward fighters just like hatton...baldomir is even stronger in the cluch, and n'dou is just as quick, neither are tencacious and hyper though.

i think how tencaious hatton is after he gets hit a few times?
