Footbal and basketball and baseball are now homes to our "would have been" great American Heavy weights

Mike Tyson would have probably been one of the best Linebackers in NFL history
Being a master of one sport doesn't mean you will be master of another . Mike was extraordinarily gifted fighter but have you ever seen the guy play basketball . He is absolutely hopeless at it . Tiger Woods is a golfing genius golfer but he would make a terrible boxer as would Michael Jordan.

Not a master but good. MJ is a good eg. He played baseball didn't he?
Most high school jocks play more than one sport and are good at both.
Once the ability is there....the skill can be learnt

I completely agree with rambov's post. Boxing is no longer one of the mainstream sports so when you have some of these incredible athletes with speed, power, size, etc. There are better "options" than boxing to harness their talents. There are all kinds of youth sports such as basketball, football etc. at the parks, schools but there isn't boxing. Imagine if some of the current NBA or NFL stars had focused their training in boxing at a very young age given the talents they have? Imagine Shaq as a heavyweight....... Dwight Howard, Lebron James, Allen Iverson, Terrell Owens, Ray Lewis.....the list goes on and on.

You cant say just because those guys were great basketball players they would make great heavyweight. Thats like saying roger federer would make a great boxer because he is a great tennis player. Its total crap.

American heavyweights are pretty pathetic now, it's pretty sad when Tony ****in Thompson is arguably the best American heavyweight. Americans try to say all the best heavyweights went to football, that's a bull**** weak ass excuse. Eastern European heavyweights will dominate for the rest of existence.

Its not because of "what " they play .....its their athelitic ability. They are athletes. Nothing more. They've always had the upper hand in sports..

So applying the skill was easy

Wlad Eastern Europeans don't have anything else. Those big guys can't play soccer. They should dominate boxing...

seems a bit silly saying those sportsman would make great heavyweights since there is so many different factors. Besides the next great American heavyweight would make more money than the pope wouldn't he?

Joe Mesi is the only American who has a decent chance to win a title as long as he stays away from Wlad.
