    Atlas

    Hey,

Just thought I would post about this book I"m reading. It's called "Atlas" by Teddy Atlas. It's pretty much his autobiography about how he grew up, got into boxing, became a trainer, his time with Tyson etc. It's a great book and I've found some pretty motivating things in it. This guy is full of wisdom and experience and I think any fighter could benefit from reading this book (also it's written really well and his stories are really interesting I'm having a hard time putting it down). Just thought I'd recommend it...I got mine from www.everlast.com but I'm sure any bookstore will carry it.

didn't atlas threaten tyson with a gun because he was trying to abuse his daughter or something, I think I remember him mentioning it one time.

Yeah he gets into that...tyson pretty much grabbed his 11yr old sister in law and started telling her all these sexual things. Teddy had already started having problems with tyson and this just blew it up...he ambushed him, drug him into an alley and held the gun to his head...then at the last minute quickly pulled it away and fired into the air...tyson was on the ground man...he ****ing scared the **** out of Iron Mike...this guys a beast.

I respect Tyson's skills and all, and I knew before I read this he was an ass hole, but now I may even change my signature...he is not a good person at all (no loyalty either)
