It's good to hear some news about Kessler. He'll come back better than he was before.

It's true that European fighters have to beat known American fighters to make the money and get the recognition they deserve. Calzaghe needed Lacy, Hatton needed Tszyu (I know he's a Russian born Australian but he was an established fighter in Amerca). The better fighters may come from Europe but they won't be recognized until they fight an established American fighter.

As for Kessler next fight, I'd like to see him against the winner of Pavlik-Taylor 2.

Kessler has got to be the most overrated fighter in recent times. The guy maybe at best won three rounds against Calzaghe and yet he's being hyped as some sort of world champ. What a joke.

what u dont get is that MMA are taking your fans & your future generation of fighters whilst popularity of Boxing in Europe is growing rapidly it wont be long before the fan base in Europe is generating enough money to negate the point of going to the US for the Money

and with most of the Champions being from Europe i fail to see how fighting American oponents should lead to more acclaim

i suggest u enjoy while it lasts

thank you for proving my point "muppet". i never said that the US will always be the Mecca of boxing. I said that it CURRENTLY is. Nothing stays the same forever, everything always changes but you have so many ****tions going through you right now you want to come to conclusions regarding my posts.

"Nowhere is it written that the American empire will last forever"

Its like Basketball. For almost a century, the United States of America has been the undisputed dominant powerhouse of Basketball...........only untill recently though. International tournaments, the Olympics and Fiba Cups have show than the US no longer is the only dominant force and the balance seems to be tipping towards European countries such as Spain. But guess what, most international players STILL want to play in the NBA because they will make a name for themselves. Can anyone say Yi Jianlian. So while you sit their in front of your computer, grubbin on your "fish and chips" anticipating the change to come, America is still the stage of Boxing and you have to wait your turn.
