Just wondering how many fights amateur boxers do a year-on average?

Also, for each fight weekend, how many fights are there? Do you you fight several guys a weekend or just one?

There are 3 rounds, 3 minutes each right?

Thanks. Do you normally fight multiple people each weekend? Meaning if you win, do you fight the next guy etc etc? So maybe you could fight 3 guys in one day?

Just trying to get a grasp of how it is set up

ive never heard of fighting multiple times in one night

but you can fight every weekend. One time i fought every friday night for 5 weeks in a tournament. Talk about a stressfull 5 weeks. After that i didnt fight for about another month and then entered another tounament. You can fight many times a year as an amateur especially if you enter tournaments instead of just shows.

So tournaments can last several weeks. Fantasma, do you fight at shows? Is this where there is one fight only? (vs a tournament?)

Also, in a tournament do they run them in a "round robin" type fashion where you fight everyone once? Or do only the winners advance.

Thanks guys, I'm all ears for any other information
