Name and status no it's not....action and **** for your buck...it should be....better than watching Floyd fight Baldy or something and paying for it.

Yeah I gotta admit, I feel kinda sorry for the people who paid for Mayweather vs Baldomir.

While I liked it and enjoyed Mayweather's usual stuff (great left hook/right hand lead) damn was Baldy slow. Mayweather should have thrown more combos, but was probably concerend about breaking his hands again.

I think it should have been regular Showtime. Heck, the only reason I have Showtime is for the fights. They haven't showed anything great in awhile and now they had an opportunity to draw new viewers. Instead they put it on PPV and don't do a week later replay like HBO. They seriously gotta wake the **** up on how to run their network. This fight is meanless. If either wins, who gives a ****? What does it mean for either fighter when they are both already shot to hell. Sure, it can be a great fight for however long it lasts but both have lost their last fights by KO. Mayorga is regarded as a bring back an old fighter come back guy. Vargas has looked like ass since he's come back from his back injury. The only intriguing thing has been how they been acting at the press cons. I won't buy it though I hope to catch it dled later on.

ok. he could of. worry bout your hands after the fight like most do. gotta fight through it. pain in the ass or not.
Mayweather owned him but at least Baldy tried to make a fight of it.

since when a fighter lack of aggressiveness is justified by the fear of breaking his hands

It's not really Justified, but it could be a reason why he doesn't throw that many combos anymore.

Sure this fight may not be that meaning full, but when have either of these guys been in a boring fight? I think that's why it's PPV, because of the potential blood and guts action, not to mention Vargas has a very loyal fan base and the promoters would be trying to milk it for everything that it's worth.
