NO WAY would Mayweather ever let Cotto/Mayweather be at MSG.

Unless they agreed to use 10 oz, but still. No way.

It would be Huge for us fans not for mainstream media. Cotto sold less than 400k ( I am almost positive it was near the lower 300k mark) and is generally not known. Hatton has an entire country behing him, 10s of Millions of people who are willing to pay and travel to see him fight. Floyd/Cotto RIGHT NOW wouldn't come near the sales of Hatton/Mayweather just because Cotto, contrary to popular belief, is NOT a ppv commodity. This is why I think we should be patient and wait until next year. Cotto's stock is only rising. He is going to face more good fighters and gain more fans and by this time next year the fight will be worth BIG BUCKS, much bigger than they will be worth if it happened early next year.

                  Question for skils:
Name another fighter at 140-147 who makes more 'econimic' success then Cotto?

If Floyd is only looking for fighters with the type of following/drawing power that Hatton and Oscar has, then he might as well retire after this fight.

                      Dude,

Cotto would MAYBE fill up MSG. The Cotto-Mosley fight was NOT sold out. Floyd would fill up MGM. The ticket prices at MGM would be higher, AND they would get a casino site fee.

There would be greater revenues from a Vegas fight than from a MSG fight.
