I was a young punk with no direction and fists so quick i couldn't be beaten. I grew up on the hard streets of LA and I fought for everything I earned. It taught me how to be tough, how to appreciate my fans, and the value of 'opportunity'. Late in my career I found I had fought and beaten everyone, I had no worthy opponents to test my skills against. So, I did the unthinkable...I decided to give 'opportunity' to an unheard of fighter. A once-in-a-lifetime chance to achieve greatness against the GREATEST. I wanted to show all of America what could be accomplished by the common man, and at the same time I wanted to give my fans a show they would never forget.
Yeah... I remember my youth...
