I've predicted he'll beat Mayweather since 2004
I've watched him as an amateur chasing everyone who was running away from him, I've seen him in the gym before the Tszyu fight working at closing the gap, and my opinion is that Hatton will move forward faster than Mayweather can move backwards. His levers and footspeed are awesome, always have been, trust me
Hatton has the left hand work to take advantage of Floyd dropping his right shoulder whenever he goes toe-to-toe, and if Floyd backs off to the ropes Hatton will work the ribs and switch upstairs in a compact way (head in Floyd's chest, side-stepping etc), basically if Floyd backs off to the ropes which I believe he may have to, he might not get off them...
Hatton is an immovable object, with balance and tempo to boot, quick punches on top of that, and will NOT punch in bunches as is the mistake most Floyd opponents make - Floyd is far too elusive to punch in bunches and his counters too untelegraphed
Hatton is a master at threading singles through
Floyd's leads are also brilliantly untelegraphed, which is why Hatton will feint his way in when he has to
I believe 100% in Hatton's skills and talent and always have done, since he was a young boy. I've been mocked and laughed at on this board since 2004 when telling you all that Hatton would outbox Mayweather, but I stand by it
