There is no man at 147 who would not be effected by clean hard shots to the body by the Hitman. I dont care how hard floyd trains his body, are you telling me he can not be hurt by body shots? Great boxer, but not superman. Happy Thanksgiving and cant wait to see you get it done ricky!
The Hardest Floyd Has Been Hit?

the fighter who has hurt him the most was corley. i've never seen floyd hurt by a body punch or if he was, he did a hell of a job of not showing it. corley stunned him in the 4th round of their fight, but floyd knocked him down not too long afterwards even though it was ruled a slip, which was bull****. castillo landed some crisp body shots on floyd and floyd took them wel it appeared. oscar caught him with some nice body **** which he took well, and he caught him with some nice right hands upstairs which he took well. hatton will have to stay on floyd's ass because i truly feel that hatton cannot hurt floyd like floyd can hurt hatton. floyd buckled oscar and he baldomir in the 5th and 6th round of their fights. they never buckled floyd. remember, floyd spars with naturally bigger men, so many fighters out there claim they can hurt floyd, but it means little to nothing when fight time comes and they miss shots and the shots that they land, have no real damage on floyd.
oh yeah, and judah had a flash knockdown on floyd, and landed a monserous bodyshot on him in the 9th round that floyd took very well. and, floyd was caught in the 4th round by judah which people though hurt floyd but if you actually the watch, it was a fast left hand followed by a flurry of missed punches only to followed by a barage of body shots landed by floyd, so he never hurt floyd either, just stunned him. floyd hurt him though.
hatton has to wear floyd down to really damage him, but floyd is so fast that he can hurt hatton with a quick left hook or a right hand upstairs. floyd's stronger than many of you give him credit for, he is strong as ****. he's no pushover by any means, and hatton is in for a bruising come december 8th.Last edited by pbftxrs316; 11-22-2007, 08:57 PM.Comment

Corley's overhand clubbing shot hurt him.
Judah's left hand almost took his head off, but he didn't really actually even seem hurt.
De La Hoya landed a flush left hook in the 12th.
I'd say De La Hoya's was probably the hardest punch, considering the size of De La Hoya in the fight.
Corley's caught him the most flush though.Comment

Corley stunned him severely. He looked away and seemed dazed for a split second.Corley's overhand clubbing shot hurt him.

And I was actually pretty impressed by how he took that flush left. He threw it in the middle of his own flurry, so he didn't even see it coming- yet he seemed unwobbled.Comment

When I called for sources, all I got was Wikipedia and Doghouse Boxing, which is a fan-run site.
Pretty much certain that Castillo's ribs weren't broken. No one has that good of a poker face.
Look at Virgil Hill's face after Jones crushed his ribs, and then look at Castillo's after that Hatton body shot... no comparison.Comment
