No. I recall reading that he will come in on fight night weighing 143-144.

On his last weight check I think he was weighing around 147 already. In his last outing at 147 he boiled down as usual, but then piled on the extra weight in muscle mass. This not only slowed him down but too a lot away from his fitness, yes he was stronger but it took a lot more energy to throw those shots. Hes going to weigh in at around 140, which is his usual fighting weight. When Hatton is at his natural fighting weight he is simply astonishing in terms of power and speed. If Hatton can keep his weight under control (and by under control I mean not so light he loses power, but not so heavy he loses speed and stamina) then Mayweather is going to get the shock of a lifetime. Hatton will treat him as nothing more than a hurdle on the way to his ultimate goal and show him no more respect than he needs to come fight night. Expect Mayweather to try in vain to stay away from Hatton, but then get steamrollered late when Hattons constant pressure breaks his will.

          He's lookin' strong.

I sure hope Ricky puts on a better performance than Oscar.

Many people feel Floyd hasn't been in a real scrap.

Would love to see what bag of tricks Ricky will pull out on fight night.

So he is going to dry out to make 140 at the weigh-in with a 147 limit only to rehydrate and put it back on again ,,,,, mate you dont know what your talking about , weigh-in weight and fight weight is about fluid ,, in this fight both these guys dont need to dry out thats the only difference between them and true welterweights which both are not , everything else is the same as thier last fights where Floyd fought at 148 and Hatton was around 150 .

                  You recall wrong:

"When I fight at 140 I normally get in the ring about 152,” Hatton said.

“But against Luis Collazo I think I came in about 158, 159. I tried to make myself as big as him when really I wasn't.

"And so I think I'm going to come in on the night at the weight that I perform best at in the ring, and that will be around 152lbs."
