but I havent seen the fight myself.

also, Marquez took the John fight because of some touchy business with the WBA belt. Marquez had been stripped by the IBF and WBA for terrible reasons, and Marquez was trying to get his WBA belt back. cause otherwise, he would have had no belt at all. Belts should mean at least something.
d*mn man, not even juanita made that many excuses. dude, it's simple, juan was offered the biggest fight contract of his entire life to date. what did he do?

all this **** that juanita "the loudmouth wh*re that he has turned into" marquez is saying now are just that, words. and why is juanita saying all this **** now? 'cause A, he's desperate, B, fighting both soto and guzman don't add up to 750k(haha). what a great accountant!

Maybe if Juanita and that idiot trainer/wannabe manager of his thought more like a smart businessman that Arum is, they would've been thinkin' long-term. and that's what Arum and PAC are lookin' at it. It would generate more $$$$ if both PAC and juanita both came in as world champs!

I mean, just look at DLH, he has done the same thing in his career, he first took an unknown in Sturm, won a belt, and moved on to fight another world champ in Hopkins. he did it again when he faced mayorga, he won, and proceeded to face another world champ in Floyd Mayweather jr. bottomline is $$$$. juanita is thinking of now, make the fight now. pac/arum is waiting for the much bigger payday!

Pacquiao was interviewed on national TV the night before his departure from LA and he said he's willing to fight Marquez. Maybe Marquez is reading too much internet forum and he is quoting the posters not pacquiao himself

idiot trainer? Nacho is prolly the best trainer there is now, above Mayweather Sr, what the **** are you smoking on, obviously u havent seen enough fights/fighters to even argue with me, u little ***** go watch your kickboxing gay "sport"...and comparing Oscar to Juan is something idiotic, Oscar gets any fight he wants simply because hes the biggest PPV draw in boxing history.

Right but the reality is that arum has the power of the purse. A pac-david diaz is the most profitable for top rank so it is the fight with the highest probability of happening.

kadyo, what you just said is what the id*ot juanita ball lickers simply can't comprehend.

Arum wants to keep it in-house. and once pac hopefully takes that belt from D. Diaz then that makes the rematch w/ juanita that much more lucrative!

frankly, I dont care at this point what Marquez did 2 years ago. is belt condition may or may not have influenced his decision, I dont care. bottom line is, the fight didnt happen. I blame him for the fight not happening.

thing is, its 2007. Marquez is no doubt the #2 guy at 130. Pacquiao is no doubt the #1 guy at 130. Marquez is calling him out, and letting him choose the weight class AND the payout. thats pretty big. they owe each other a rematch because of their close, great fight they had.

                  ...this fight needs to happen.
and there is no way in hell that a David Diaz fight would generate more ppv buys than the Marquez fight. Marquez is with golden boy, and two promotional companies>one promotional company when it comes to selling a fight. not to mention Marquez vs. Pacquiao is the fight everyone wants to see.
who cares about a David Diaz fight? hes the only titleholder thats not Juan Diaz, many people thought he lost his fight with Morales, and he even shares his WBC belt with Casamayor.

if weight is an issue, Marquez said he would fight at 135. which means he would be moving up two weight classes in about a year and a half. Pacquiao hasnt held a legitimate belt for years, theres no real reason he would want one now, and Marquez holds a belt anyway.

I just keep on going on and on, but the point is...This fight needs to happen, and theres no reason it shouldnt happen.

that plus the animosity between arum and nacho and the fact that JMM is currently being promoted by hoya which means that arum has to share his earnings with hoya in copromoting a pac fight once he's fighting a fighter from the golden boy stable.

As a fan, I like to see a pac-jmm fight first and foremost but I also have to consider the fact that this is not a fight for the fans to decide but a fight for promoters to decide for obvious reasons.

That's your way of thinking which is not necessarilly the way promoters think.
