The names Valero and Linares are known among hardcore fans but are not whispered (forget being raved about) by the mainstream.

PPV helps insure that mainstream recognition for Valero and Linares shall take a lot longer.

Wonder what the numbers would be?

Valero is fighting someone named Zaid Zavaleta? I checked BoxRec to get some sense of who he is. The best I can gather is that he has two losses but was never stopped. His penultimate fight was at SuperLightweight. He plied his craft mostly as a Lightweight or SuperLightweight.

Will Valero give Zavaleta his first taste of the canvass? I'm interested to know the answer, but not interested enough to Pay for the View.

                    I can wait for youtube...
