Would it be a waste of energy to attack Floyd's arms?

I mean, he uses his arms to cover most of his body when he gets cornered. Would it be a waste of energy just to direct your body punches to his arm muscles trying to wear them down?

Yes it would be. Floyd doesnt throw in flurries or combos anymore. He takes a shot and backs off. If he see's the opening open long enough he'll go for it.But then you could be in trouble.

His arms with only tired with those 2 things. He already resorts to what a guy with tired arms would do,hit and back off.

I think Hatton would have alot more success going to the body. Simply going for the arms is too risky and probably wouldn't work as planned. Maybe if it was a 15 rounder.

I think he'll just hit what he can and try to break mayweather down, no point trying to outbox him, but mayweather shouldn't win if his output is diminished throughout the fight, doing that is going to be the hardest part no doubt.

Its never a waste of energy to attack a defensice fighter's arms. You hit what's in your way to get it out of your way. In hattons case. I wouldn't recco it!

just to clear it up, i meant when he gets cornered and he uses his arms to cover his body, AT THAT point attack the arms. i guess it depends on how conditioned the opposing fighter is.

If you attack in the arm e****ally in the elbow a person may hurt or even break his hand so it doesnt more damage to you than to your oppenet.

The elbow is a cruel way of defensive offensive move to block punchs
