if he pulls that, he is not a true champion, and anyone who respects his decision to do so, clearly does not understand boxing and is obbsessed in a strange way with floyd. he CANNOT retire after he beats hatton, otherwise he is a punk.

A number of things really:

1) Mayweather nuthuggers defend ANYTHING he does.

2) As for retiring "after he beats hatton", he has to beat Hatton first, you're getting a little ahead of yourself here.

4) I dont care how much money and media coverage he brings, a "champion" who POINT BLANK REFUSES to fight the best in his division is bad for the sport.

My guess is he will play games immediately after the Hatton fight, like he did after ODH and his brief fake retirement, but he'll eventually see those big $$ signs and fight Cotto.

I was merely speculating as to what he might do, but I think we all know he doesnt really want the Cotto fight.

I don't know that. I think he truly believes he is the best fighter in the world and cant be beat. But like I said, I also think he makes his decisions based on money, and if Cotto will bring in lots of it, he will fight him, but if not he will try to fight whoever is the biggest payday.

But I do agree with you in the sense that if he doesn't fight Cotto, he is a *****.

Mayweather gets served, absolutely humiliated for 11 and a half rounds before finally being put to sleep, hard. Hatton celebrates and pulls on one of his trademark comedy t-shirts, only this time reading "Theres only one Vicky Fatton" (in response to a Mayweather jibe) Mayweather by this point has woken up and doesnt know where he is. Hes still so half unconscious he honestly believes hes won. He starts taking the piss out of Hatton telling him he was always going to lose cos hes just a fat man. Then Hatton laughs at him and leaves the ring to start his post fight interviews. Mayweather then proceeds to dance around the ring shouting "VICTORY DANCE, OH YEAH! WHO DA MAN!" Then he calls out Cotto, who happens to be sat ringside. Cotto steps into the ring, removes the microphone from his hand and tells him hes an embarrassment. Mayweather flies into a fit of rage and punches Cotto, squarely on the button with all his strength. Cotto just laughs in his face and walks away, leaving the fool on his knees in the centre of an empty ring, crying for his mum, who is so ashamed of him she has already packed up and left.

Never gonna happen, but if it did, I'd probably be some sort of legend for predicting it.
