okay given that youre right about the left hand, Mayorga gave him a few free shots with the right hand that didnt do anything either. I think if a fight happens with them again we see Vernon running around the ring like its a track meet to win a decision, i still dont think that would work either, Mayorga owns him.

No doubt Mayorga was the better fighter in their two fights years ago, but he took such a horrible beating from Trinidad, I don't think he can take the punishment any longer. I don't think he would fight as confident as he did before and Forest hasn't look so bad lately. Well, from what I saw from him last. I think it's a whole different story now. If he gets knocked out easy by Vargas, I'll say it's definitely because of the beating Trinidad gave him. I hope he knocks out Vargas.

I think now that Forrest can use his left jab effectively enough to keep Ricardo off, he can win a wide UD.

It wasn't his hand... his left rotator cuff was ****ed beyond belief. He was getting injections before fights for it... not a very good way to go about your career.

But it's true that it probably didn't matter in the first fight. Forrest didn't try to box, he tried to slug with Mayorga. So, so, so ****** on his part. Just ridiculously dumb.
