No Truth To De La Hoya vs. Judah Rumors

Last week, reports were circulating on the internet with respect to Oscar De La Hoya approaching Zab Judah for a possible bout, a tuneup or otherwise, to take place in the early part of 2008. Judah's promoter Brian Young told writer Dan Rafael that Judah was never approached for a De La Hoya bout, and no talks have taken place for such a bout with De La Hoya's company, Golden Boy Promotions. LOL, thank God, I don't know what's worst, DLH vs Judah or DLH vs Pman.

DLH needs to find a legit opponent with the odds stacked against DLH, whenever he does that he gets the credit he craves. The're enough legitimate champions and contenders in the WW division to choose from

i think judah should have moved back down to 140. he could really clean up down there and there are good opponents...he weighed in at 145 for the cotto fight. well then again there really isnt any comp. at 154> spinks and forrest...thats about it

I think Oscar should face Winky Wright, I think Winky will drop to 154 for that fight and if he beats Winky then he sets himself up for a big fight at WW, he is dumb for even eyeing guys below 154 with guys like Taylor, Pavlik, Winky, Forrest and Baldomir lurking in the division, mad competition and De La Hoya stands a good chance at all besides Taylor and Pavlik.. he got his sights set on the wrong division IMO, he should stay up there with the bigger guys and get them belts, he should face Felix Sturm in another tune up style kind of match where the promotion would be "Heart Of A Champion" and it could seem like Oscar only wants to fight him because he didn't like the way he won the 1st time(which he didn't BTW) it would make a lot of sense to do so and erase some bad Karma, do what Floyd Mayweather did with Castillo and he could also get a belt at middleweight in the process, bottomline to make a long story short Oscar shouldn't have his sights set on 147, there is already a moving train and he doesn't deserve a big fight there.. 100
