how can a person claim to be a boxing fan when they don't appreciate pefect classic text book boxing? (Guzman, Mayweather, Casamayor, whitaker, ect).

Neither Taylor nor Hopkins landed over 100 punches in their first fight, even though they threw more.

Which one is better to watch? More punches thrown, or punches actually landed.
I already told you that compuhoax is a hoax. The only stat I use on that is punches thrown.

They literally have guys who watch the fight that have a ticker in hand to count the punches.

        Talk about human error, man.

I'm sure the same can be said for Philip N'dou when he fought Floyd.

31-1 (30 KOs), but he looked like **** that night.
If you look at roys resume youll see some of these guys you thought were nobodies beat some real good opposition and were top dawgs at the time.. Roy was just so dominating that people automatically thought the oppononts were tomato cans..

because we little people, in our heads, like to pretend that the guys in the ring actually want to hurt each other, a la want to fight. You're right, we're too dumb to understand the nuances of doing as little as possible to win and still come away with the same paycheck, because after all, its too much to hope for a fight in boxing.

And you can't win a whole fight RUNNING all night.
its disrespectfull to the people who paid money to see the fight thinking they are coming to see "the best fighter in the world" and watch mayweather slap an old guy while running for 12 rounds mayweather is never been an underdog in his career yet he always finds himself being the coward in his latest fights

um no, YOU have no idea what the sport is. It is a FIGHT sport, its not fencing with gloves. That doesnt mean you have to get hit, but it means you should try to hurt your opponent if possible.

Why do you think they have JUDGES instead of just punchcounters and take the headgear off in the pros?
