If he had some power in his punches, then most traditional boxing fans would appreciate him moreso. He is definitely a skillfull boxer, he just lacks the "quality" that merits any attention. Although he has the Charisma, he's pretty much snap, crackle without the "POP".

which is why his last 3 fights were on hbo

The HBO schedule is booked by the way all through early mid next year so of course he is not gonna have a date, they have big name fights set up and bigger name fighters usually get two guaranteed dates a year.
