I don't like Floyd trashing his opponents either, but...as sure as the sun rises in the east, he is gonna give Ricky Hatton a good hiding! By the way, I kind of like Hatton, he tries to mix it.

Floyd is a mouthy little sort. He reminds me of the little kid in the schoolyard who would run his mouth. Then, when you would chase after him to pound on him he'd run and hide behind the teacher and make faces.

Sooner or later he'll get his whupping. They all do.

I think Hatton is much better than a "C" class fighter. Floyd will have his hands full on December 8th and he just might lose.

The same reason he's fought everybody else who was a little less talented or a step slower over the years. It's a humungous payday & he certainly wont absorb much physical abuse. All the critics & fans can hate him or love him but he's the best pure boxer in the sport and until someone defeats him (which wont be any time soon in my opinion) he'll remain on top of the p4p standings. Hell, from his viewpoint there arent any fighters at 147 or 154 who are A class fighters..stop hatin' and let him talk his -ish cause he'e definitely backed it up over the years. He didnt invent trash talking in pro sports & he wont be the last to do so. Joe Calzaghe is as obnoxious & pompous as they come these days(and w/ good reason)..and there are hordes of folks on these boards who like him as a fighter or just simply hang from his nutsack via the web. Let the young boy go about his business the way he wants. If he thinks Hatton's not on his level then why cant he say so. Ricky Hatton was the one calling him out..that's partly why this fight is taking place. He feels as though he can compete w/ Mayweather..so come Dec 8th, he'll have his chance to prove it to the world.

Then you have a slew of folks saying he hasnt fought any noteworthy fighters over the years which is ridiculous if you think it through (given the crop of today's current fighters..no one can be responsible for the era they compete in). As a welterweight, he beat the man who beat the man after beating the man who got beat in the 1st place (that being judah & baldomir). I actually read predictions from so called experts who gave baldomir a chance at winning others even predicting a knock out. The same scenario occurred in the de la hoya fight & he won all those easy. Mayweather doesnt duck anybody. He could be guilty of prioritizing finances but hell for years the promoters pimped many of the all time greats of the sport. It's good to actually see the fighters empowering themselves because they're the ones who take the risk. Many have been calling for a hatton fight..well, your wish was granted. NO ONE can say he's ducked Mosely (if you'll recall the infamous "Im taking several months off the get my tooth fixed and spend time w/ my family" comment). Hell, this past weekend he got outboxed by a guy who's still very much learning his craft in Cotto. Do any of you really think Mayweather would get hit w/ as many jabs as Mosely ate. His reflexes are beginning to slow b/c Cotto has decent hand speed but its not blinding by any means. Those fights would be competitive for a few rounds but I dont think either of them could come out victorious against floyd at this pt in his career. The cintron's, williams', & margarito's of the boxing world need to further establish their careers against each other & increase their monetary stock before stepping up. You can hate all you want but PBF is entering that de la hoya realm where he can handpick his fights based on what will bring him the greatest financial gain. Why da hell you think oscar wants hatton to win so desparately??..so he can fight ricky in may at dodger stadium..have a good chance at winning..and most importantly get that US & UK paper.

This is an easy one. Here are a few clues:

1) The man calls himself Floyd "Money" Mayweather, and clearly loves money.

2) He runs around the ring for 12 rounds after **** talking for months about how he is going to win by KO.

3) He says he only wants to fight the best, yet came out of retirement to face Ricky, who he claims is a class "C" fighter.

floyd calling hatton a c class fighter is very smart on his part because no matter what and who the media or internet fans or any fan claim can beat floyd or whatever, he is going to rebuttal this and counterclaim them by saing they're not on his level..

I don't see the logic.

Claiming your opponent is a C class fighter is strange.......for several reasons.

1. If Floyd does win impressively, people will point to how he admitted himself that he beat a C class fighter.

2. That doesn't sound like the greatest way to hype a fight does it? By telling the public that you're going to participate in a four part reality/documentary show on H.B.O. with your C class counterpart in this "mega" fight.

3. So let me get this straight, if Hatton wins........that would mean by Floyd's own admissions that he lost to a C class fighter.
