hello dumbasses, he calls his opponents c class and d class fighter because he feels there is nobody in boxing that can match him. he called oscar one dimensional, shane makes too many mistakes, cotto leaves himself open too much, and hatton is a bum. floyd treats all his opponents the same way because his confidence is so high, that giving his opponents any type of credit will take away from his legacy, and that is to be the most dominant fighter in history.

floyd insults his opponents, and in turn, this either gets to them and they end up fighting with no confidence that they can win, or it makes them train harder and want it more. floyd calling hatton a c class fighter is very smart on his part because no matter what and who the media or internet fans or any fan claim can beat floyd or whatever, he is going to rebuttal this and counterclaim them by saing they're not on his level. great fighters think this way. floyd claimed that hatton is going to bring hi sa game, and fight his geart out, and this is smart also. floyd is a smart fighter, deal with it. and yes, he does make his opponents look c an dd class, his aura is unmatched.

I must say, like others have said, I don't get why Floyd trashes his opponents so much.

But even more I don't get why some fans then use those opponents as a sign of his "greatness". All the Floyd fanboys that trash Hatton and call him a bum will then say it makes Floyd the GOAT for beating him. How does that work?

It confuses me also,but I think Mayweather says this to get a mental edge over Hatton.Ppl just take it out of context. Same as if a boxer said so and so is nothing,I'll beat him easily. Thats what **** talking is all about in boxing,you gotta get in their heads.
