People are being a little too hard on Cintron for the Margarito fight. He dished out his air share of punishment, Margarito just has an iron chin.

ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE THIS POST, TRUE.

What has Cintron done to lead you to this conclusion? Was it how he was destroyed and quit in the fight against Margarito (heart and courage?)

Was it is live and death fight against David Estrada? Or maybe his world title win against the GREAT MARK SUAREZ! LMAO Cintron-Suarez had no right to be a title fight. Or his KO win against the also great Walter Matthysse? who was recently KOd by Sebastian Lujan.

I like Cintron, but at this point to say he is better than Cotto is ridiculous. Cotto is 31-0 (25 KOs), two time world champion, wins over Zab Judah and Shane Mosley. Cintron has never beat anyone worth mentioning, the only time he foght a guy worth mentioning he was destroyed, quit, and cried.

2 WORDS, PARTIALLY TRUE. SINCE FIGHTING MARGARITO, KERMIT CINTRON HAS GROWN AS A BOXER. SUAREZ WAS BIGGER THAN HIM. MATTHYSSE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AFTER THAT KO. CINTRON KILLED HIM. IN MATHESSE PREVIOUS FIGHT, HE WENT THE LONG RUN WITH PAUL WILLIAMS, WHO I WILL PUT MONEY ON AGAISNT MAYWEATHER. WILLIAMS IS A GOOD BOXER WITH TONS OF UPSIDE. So, Cintron has not beated big names so far, true, but his new boxing style and very impressive KOs had been agaisnt significant opponents.

I do believe Cintron's rangey style and powerful right hand would be a dangerous fight for cotto..

I think even if Cintron beats Williams that doesnt make him better. Brings him closer, but he cant be better with just ONE WIN, especially against Williams, who is basically a prospect. A win over williams is almost equivalent to a win over Carlos Quintana in my book.

NEVER EVER. Was Quintana the Champ when he faced Cotto??? I am positive he was, still Williams comes from beating Margarito. You got to respect the fact that if Cintron beats Williams... Cintron may become the third best WW out there.

I'm still trying to figure out who the **** Carlos Quintana is as I've only seen one photo of him on boxing scene and none of his fights (not even the Cotto one where I hear he got demolished). I don't recall PW ever getting demolished, and instead recall him winning a title from the so-called "most feared man in boxing".

Quintana is an "ok" boxer. Not much power, nor speed, but good overall skills. He was undefeated when he faced Cotto. Cotto looked superior during the short fight, but the left hook killed Quintana without giving him much chance to prove he could had gone 10-12 rounds. That lweft hook would had destroyed any other fighter out there. It was devastating, unlike the one Oscar took from Hopkins...

Cotto is a midget in welter division. ¿When Cotto have fight with a bigger guy? Cintron, Williams and Margarito are biggers fighter and we never see Cotto or Hatton fight them, never...

He fought Mosley, not a big as the other ones, but might as well be better than them. Due to size, he will have problems. That is true, the same goes to Floyd. Still, in the WW, The best ones are Floyd and Cotto.
