FLOYD MAYWEATHER has labelled Ricky Hatton his ‘Prison Bitch’ as he took his trash talk to a new low. The five-weight champion puts his WBC and WBA welterweight belts on the line against Hatton when they fight at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas on December 8.
Mayweather has been trying to rattle Hatton ever since they went on their worldwide promotional tour back in September.
And his outrageous outburst, made when the cameras had stopped rolling, shocked but did not unsettle the Manchester Hitman.
When the unbeaten pair were in Los Angeles Mayweather snarled before threatening to bust Hatton’s jaw: “I wish I was in prison with you. I’d make you my *****.”
Hatton said: “What Floyd doesn’t know is that I don’t get insulted. But he was very offensive. He told me he wanted to buttf*** me.
"Trust me, it was the biggest load of nonsense and crap that I could ever wish to hear — but he needs to came out with all that rubbish.
“It’s just mind games with him. I just think he is very, very insecure. He tried to get under my skin but he can’t.
“Another time, he was saying all kinds of other stuff and I was hitting him back with slick one- liners. When he realised he couldn’t annoy me, he walked to his car screaming ‘F***, f***’.
Respect
“A small part of me feels sorry for him because I don’t think he has ever had stability in his life.
“It’s one thing saying stuff to sell tickets but the same old s***e comes out of his mouth 24/7.
“He has given me no respect. Maybe when he is alone he does but I have not seen it.
“All he has around him is yes men telling him what he wants to hear, shouting ‘You’re da man! You’re da man!’
“No sooner had Floyd got out of the pram than he was boxing. He has never really had a proper upbringing, a childhood.
“It’s been boxing, boxing, boxing and that’s probably why he is like he is.
“He’s never had stability. He reminds me of what happens in those reality TV shows. It’s all put on for the cameras . . . it’s bulls**t.
“How many watches can you buy? How many flash suits can you wear? How many big cars can you drive?
“I’ve never said anything other than he is the best pound for pound fighter in the planet.
“But then again I think that Floyd fights like his life . . . it’s all show and not enough substance.”
Hatton shrugs off Mayweather’s foul-mouthed attacks and insists they are just another attempt to put one over his rival before the big fight.
Hatton, who has stepped up from light-welterweight for the second time to face Mayweather, said: “During the Press tour I’ve had to suffer through his rants.
“He’s ridiculed me and aggravated me but I just laugh it off because it’s nothing but talk and I understand that. He’s trying to get under my skin.
“He tries to wind you up so you get charged up before the fight and that gets you to expend energy.
Yank Mayweather said: “I have fought my whole life just to pull my mother and family out of the ******.
“I came into this sport to be the best ever and have given my whole life to prove there isn’t another fighter better than me.
“People like Hatton are C class fighters compared to me but I make them look a class lower — D Class.
“Hatton is exciting for what he does and that ain’t much. He dishes it out and takes it — but I don’t have to because I am the president of the sport.
“I look at Hatton and I see scar tissue and fat. Ricky should not let his weight get up like it does.
“We all know how he will fight. It will be like taking candy from a baby for me and I will punish him.”
