Judah had all the skill and physical ability in the world, he just couldnt leave the street life alone. He was too distracted by the glamor and glitz

Besides for the Baldomir fight, which I think he could avenge, he's only lost to good fighters. So I disagree when people always call Judah an underachiever.

Matter of fact I think Judah beating Baldomir in a rematch would mean a lot. Maybe it would even set up a rematch with Spinks.

It's hard to say.. But this is a good question and I understand your line of exploration on this. The psychology of losing to Tszyu was powerful. The loss wasn't demoralizing because Zab had been beaten, the loss was demoralizing because he could have won. Impatience is what helped cause all of Judah's well know lapses. That's partially due to his physical gifts, and partially due to the logistics of his basic infrastructure.

#1, having his daddy around ****ed him up. It kept Zab from ever becoming a man and facing his problems on his own. He never came back from the setbacks a better, stronger man. He came back from the setbacks with less faith, and a weaker backbone.

        The rest is history.

BTW, this is a random Zab thought but I never understood why alot of people hyped that "courageous performance" against Cotto.

WTF was courageous about that? His body language?

That weak little half hearted waving gesture?

Courageous in this sport means you go down swinging.

Judah lacks intangibles, focus, heart, a good chin. He has an abundance of alot of skills but it's all the skills amalgamated that make a great fighter.
