This poll really separates boxing fans from guys who just like watching people punch each other. If these two very talented boxers were to fight, it would be one of the most technically brilliant fights in the history of the sport. I was impressed with the way Calzaghe and Kessler both jabbed over each others jabs at times and countered each others counters, but Mayweather-Spinks would be on a whole new level. These are two of the smartest fighters in the sport and just because some of you can't comprehend what is going on in the ring doesn't make it a boring fight.

Its sad that you claim to be a boxing fan, yet think that the fight is just two guys throwing punches at each other. Calzaghe and Kessler put on a great show. Part of what made that fight so great for us real boxing fans was seeing two guys who are very SMART and very SKILLED in the ring. Which is why people like you don't appreciate guys like Mayweather and Spinks.
