I have dreamt about this matchup since Hatton beat Tsyzu, I waited for more than 2 years and it is finally happening now. How many PPV Buys do you think this fight will do? Last time I predicted DLH/Mayweather will do above 2 million buys, and some of the people were calling me crazy here, and it actually happened it did far more than 2 million buys, Floyd Mayweather vs Ricky Hatton has been an long anticipated match-up. I think this fight will do 800,000 + PPV Buys, you may call me crazy again but we will see who is right about it once more.

Above 800,000 PPV Buys, after Floyd's fight with Oscar De La Hoya which did 2.4 million buys, and being for weeks on the world most popular show Dancing with the stars, and Hatton is a name as well. -

I have been saying and thinking 500k was what this fight is headed for, but with the 24/7 hype, I think this is a good estimate.
For boxing's sake, let's hope it's a good fight. It's too bad that the two biggest non-heavyweight PPVs ever have been duds. This is supposed to continue to mark boxing's comeback, so if the fight gives the goods, people who don't usually watch will come back. Obviously, DLH-Floyd failed to deliver, maybe this one won't...but I'm afraid we'll get a clinic.Comment

Given that the best non DLH PPV since the heavyweights were relevant was Tito-Winky (I think that fight did 600k, give or take 100k), this would be a huge number.Comment

I can actually see this fight doing into the 900k range. Most people at my work who aren't true boxing fans have been talking to me about this fight. Seems to have allot of the non die hard boxing fans attention.Comment

I'm guessing 600,000-800,000, but I hope it does much more. I'm not sure how PPV works outside of Amerika and if it ever really sells well or what.Comment
