Guzman uses his speed, power, and footwork to confuse Soto just enough to win this fight by close UD (115-113 or 116-112). Soto isn't the best boxer and he hasn't really fought someone with Guzman's handspeed so I think it will take him a few rounds to adjust, that will be the difference in the fight.

Guzman starts well and outworks and out-lands Soto, his superior speed and movement clearly evident. As the fight wears on, Guzman starts to miss, throwing looping punches that fall wide of the mark; he starts feeling the effects of a 12 month lay-off, Soto grows in confidence as his straight right starts to wear down the weary Dominican. As the fight looks like going to the cards, Soto stops Guzman after nailing him with a right hand. Making it to his feet, Guzman is saved by the referee and loses an 11th round TKO.

Thus another overrated pillow puncher bites the dust.

exactly how i would see it go. but in case soto can't put down guzman, it'll be a SD for soto, guzman will surely sway at least one judge in his favor w/ his show of skills in the early rounds.

I have no question on Guzman speed and skills ...

but i doubt that guzman hits harder than bobby pac...

except for soto, bobby pac kd/koed all his previous opponents at 130... and i have yet to hear guzman hurt anybody at 130...

Who do you think is the better fighter , Rocky Juarez or Jorge Barrios?

I think these are the best wins for both Guzman and Soto.
