It missed the projected outcome of 500,000 PPV buys, which is probably why BOB ARUM wont release the official Numbers.

Arums reasoning for not releasing official numbers is because "he says he's adopting a new policy of not releasing the final figures because fighters will want to be paid on that number and Top Rank doesn't have the revenue yet."

But Arum did say that the numbers most certainly broke the 400,000 buy mark, although it is unclear how far over.

IMO, thats FANTASTIC sales. I was thinkin maybe 350k at most, but over 400k is wonderful. I never thought it was gonna be 500k anyways

yes, but there is obviously a MASSIVE gap between first and 2nd.

And i wouldnt call him smart for hitting the fans nerves... youd probably want to get on their side so they'd want to see you. But if he wants people to love to hate him, i guess it works out cause he does make more money that way...

Anyway, If Mayweather beats Hatton and then somehow avoids Cotto, it would be infuriating
