    Hatton's Gameplan?

To all the Hatton fans. If Hatton was to beat floyd what would be his gameplan to neutralize floyds quickness ,agility ,and ring generalship..How would Hatton capitalize on Floyd's weaknesses?

I know his gameplan. But I won't reveal it here because Floyd reads this board.

Hug him so he can't run, then just hammer to the body. Enough kidney blows later he won't have to hold no more because Floyd won't be able to run.

Haha, wow... I love how your gameplan for him is to do two illegal things over and over in the bout.

          1. Hit while holding.
          2. Kidney punch.

Just to be safe, he should put on some brass knuckles.

Hatton should cut the ring off, IE side step rather than follow floyd around the ring to corner him or back him onto the ropes.

Also he should apply selective pressure without throwing punches for the sake of it.

Hunt Floyds body, he can`t shoulder roll away from body shots.

He has to avoid getting hit too much on the way into the inside.

If he can apply intelligent pressure each round and work floyd to the body without getting hit too much on the way in, he can win.

Im a Floyd fan and i even know what it is. its simple, pressure, pressure, and more pressure. i mean, thats the only way he can win because if he tries to out box Floyd, hes getting his ass beat.

that's the problem Pressure if Hatton remains 1 dimensional the entire fight Floyd Will adapt to the situation like he did with JLC and Hatton will watch the fight slip out of his hands.

SO if Floyd's usual back foot style isn`t working against Hattons pressuring style, Floyd can switch styles?

What is he going to switch to?

                    His gameplan will be either:

                    A) Come out guns blazing and try to score an early knockout.

                    or

                    B) Immediately turn the fight into a wrestling match.

Plan A has zero chance of working. Plan B has a shot, albeit a slim one. When Hatton gets tired, which is usually in the middle rounds, he becomes an easy target because he keeps giving you action even though he can't slip the punches. By forgoing the excessive movement, he will be able to effectively conserve the energy to mug and manhandle Floyd for 12 rounds, or so they think. Will it work? I don't believe so. But hey, Hatton will give it his best.
