Hatton is literally a welterweight. Junior Welterweight. Hatton brings more money to the table(when the fight was made) than Cotto.

He thinks he is taking the easy way out against Hatton, but he is dead wrong. Win or lose, Hatton is gonna give Floyd the toughest fight of his life. If Floyd does beat Hatton, he will avoid facing the bigger prime Welterweights and he will try to set up a rematch with Oscar or a fight with the washed up Mosley. Floyd is a known ducker, he avoided Tszyu back in the day because he was too dangerous.

If you are not the dumbest person to ever post on this site, you are definitely in the top two. Floyd tried three times to secure a fight against Mosley. Mosley said twice that he needed two tuneups before he would be ready for Mayweather. Then he said he had a toothache and couldn't fight him. Bob Arum mentioned two years ago that he was not ready to put Cotto in the ring with Mayweather because Cotto was not ready for Mayweather. He tried to secure a fight against Margarito after Zab Judah lost to Baldomir. Arum already had Margarito scheduled for a "tuneup" in a PPV against some stiff he ended up knocking out in the first round and refused to cancel the fight to fight Mayweather. Mayweather then decided to fight Baldomir, the Ring Magazine champion at 147.

Hatton fought all of his career at 140 except the one fight he fought at 147. Mayweather started his career at 130 and fought two-thirds of his fights at 130 before moving up. He tried to secure a fight against Hatton in his FIRST fight at 140 but Frank Warren refused the fight because he said Hatton wasn't ready! He tried to secure a fight against Kostya Tyszu but Tyszu decided to fight Hatton instead. All of these statements are well-known and documented facts. Considering Mayweather fought two-thirds of his fights at 130, and Hatton fought 98 percent of his at 140, Hatton cannot be considered the smaller fighter in this fight. In fact the only reason Hatton didn't stay at 147 after his first fight at 147 is because of the ass whipping he took against Luis Collazo. ****** *******s like you should check their facts before they make ridiculous statements like this.

Floyd's last 3 fights: Hatton, Oscar, Baldomir top anyone else's last 3 fights in the division. Period. End of story.

He can only fight one guy at one time, Jesus Christ. Trust me, he will get to Cotto.

I love how they try and count a win against Hatton already.
