Stripper To Sue De La Hoya Over Photos

One, those pictures are incredibly fake. I hope the people who think they are real are only saying as much because they hate De La Hoya and not because they actually think they are ligament.

Second, no matter what you think of De La Hoya it’s just wrong for someone to try and extort money from another person no matter who they are. She has nothing to lose because even if he sues her for deformation of character and wins he isn't going to get any money out of her. It just goes to show that once you become rich, you become a target for the greedy who are too indolent to earn their own money.

She aint got no money but if that company is able to pay 70 grand for "fake" pic's; That's defamation right there, and Goldy would kick their ass in the court room. But, I think defamation is when someone makes false statements and it hurts your rep and it affects you financially. But is it defamation if the pic's are real? My question is; Why go after the little guy (stripper), and not go after the Co. that released and paid for these pic's?

Because they are not claiming that they took these pictures. They bought them from someone claiming as such. If he tried to sue them they would just say that they bought them from someone who claimed they were real and thus they got screwed as well.

In any case, deformation is almost impossible to prove and since he is a public figure, almost a waste of time for him to do anything about it.
