I was just on another thread talking about Meldrick Taylor. I was wondering in your opinion what active fighter today can match his hand speed. I was thinking Juan Diaz cause the way he put those combos together against julio was the best I seen since Taylo IMO. Who do you guys have down?

Taylor had power with his speed. He actually TKO'd people whilst in the midst of a fight rather than the opponents of Diaz quitting on their stool. -
i've not seen as much of meldrick taylor as i'd like but from what i have seen his combination punching was ferocious!! im not sure theres anyone out their at the moment who puts their punches together in such impressive fashion, with the accuracy and power he had...Comment

Hm...well a prime Sugar Shane Mosley put together combos pretty nicely if I do say so myself. Zab Judah is still real fast but I don't think hiw combo punching is up to par if that's what you're looking for.Comment

If we are on about single punches then Judah and Mayweather are up there but for combination punching Taylor is way ahead.Comment

Judah's single shot speed is better.
No one now though throws quicker flurries than Taylor did.Comment
