    Clottey Vs Alvarez

Oh ****..Shamone Alvarez.... I ain't know that...

Should be interesting. Clottey is a decent fight IMO. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a shot to fight Cotto.

I would like to see that fight, even though I think Clottey would give Cotto problems.

Clottey is more than decent. The guy should really be on the p4p list. He is the real deal.

p4p list? the guy has never won a title, got two tries, once with baldomir and once with Margarito and lost both, he's decent but that's about it.

He actually is pretty damn good. Obviously not P4P, but certainly better than merely "decent".

He lost to Baldomir after he was ahead on the cards and apparantly lead with his head too many times. Kind of a weird way to lose. It wasn't for a title by the way.

The Margarito fight looked like a typical Zab Judah fight. Clottey was doing really really well early, but then stopped... it is claimed that he broke his hands. I saw it, and he really did just shell up. His hands were definately hurt in that fight. It would have been nice had he been able to just keep doing what he did for the first few rounds, because he was being quite effective.

His loss to Baldomir was a dq in round 11 while ahead on all scorecards by a minimum of 3 points.

Any details on that? I have never seen a DQ for leading with the head. I've seen points taken away, but damn, he must have done it a lot if he actually got DQ'ed for it.

Was there an intentional headbutt involved or what?
