It's definitely not out of the question that Paul has the best chin at 147. This fight will be telling in that aspect.

Cintron is a poser. He hasn't beaten even a B class fighter yet. Now he's warming up for the best offensive fighter at Welter by fighting another bum no one's heard of. I will eat my own **** and post it on youtube if Cintron beats Williams.

All I want to see is the winner of this fight get the credit he deserves, I know anything is possible in boxing, but this is a bad match-up for Cintron.

To be honest im still sceptical about Cintrons credentials he took a beating off Maragarito & didnt show much heart to continue in that fight IMO

he has rebouded well maybe he has learned from that performance & with Steward in his corner he will improve more & more & after all he does have that awsome power , i just need a bit more evidence that the Maragarito loss was just a bad night

Watch kerms fight with Teddy Reid, which happened before the fight with margarito. It was a much rougher fight than the fight with margarito. kerm was a totally different fighter on the night of the margarito fight than he had shown before, or since. It's unfortunate that that is usually the only fight that anyone has seen of cintron.

Another fight which could show it was the one with Mark Suarez, but that is only available as a crappy little internet video, because it wasnt aired. Both guys got rocked by pretty big shots, but kermit eventually put him down.

I actually see it the other way. Kerm isnt that much smaller than Paul, he hits like a truck, throws from all different angles, throws short, sharp punches (whereas marg throws wider punches.. and he still landed), and has manny steward in his corner, a guy who is great at coming up with gameplans. On the other side of it, Paul Williams doesnt move around a lot. To throw that many punches, you cant really move around a lot, and that's why marg was eventually able to find him. Also, marg realized that none of those punches really has much gas behind it, so if you can just deal with it, you can walk through them.

I actually think kerm matches up better against Pwils freakishly good offensive style better than anyone else at welterweight.

Chop Chop Paul Williams' new name will be Paul Bunyan.
Where do you get that he has nothing to offer but the straight right hand? He knocked Matthysse out with a left uppercut... Believe me, manny has him throwing several different punches besides the right hand. I would pick Williams over just about any other welterweight besides cintron, or maybe cotto because of his body shots and pauls long body, but i think i would still favor williams in that fight, but i just dont see him dealing that well with getting hit by cintron. it's a lot different than getting hit by margarito, and you cant see where they come from because of all the angles manny has him working.

                    Kermit soft???

I understand Paul Williams is a good boxer and may win agaisnt Kermit Cintron, but Cintron a poser??? How old are you??? This is not a popularity contest among Gothic-vampire-wannabe-losers.

I agree with what posted below...

I am a big fan of the WW and Williams vs. Cintron is suppose to be the biggest fight to come. Forget FMW vs. Hatton. Williams and Cintron deserve much more respect than what people give them credit. They obviously need to keep up fighting and showing they are "that good". I willl put money on them vs. MayWeather any given day.

Contrary to what was posted, I believe it is Paul Williams who got a bad match-up agaisnt Kermit Cintron. The height and reach advantage will be less significant. If you compared it to an opponet like Cotto or MayWeather. Kermit has shown he assimilates damage taken nad has the hardest punch. Williams will take a lot of damage, he will be hit during the fight. The question is how can Williams assimilate the punishment and not break in the later rounds. If Kermit Cintron doesn't eat the **** like Margarito did with Williams during the first 5-6 rounds, Kermit will be able to KO after the 6th round.

Anything is posible, but a well prepared and trained Cintron should overcome Williams and get a big time fight agaisnt Cotto or MayWeather. Then and only then, we will find out if his lost to Margarito had to do with lack of experience or it was indeed a fluke... just like Baldomir defeating Judah.
