Floyd's offensive skills leave much to be desired.

It sure is. Sadly, it is severely lacking in our so-called p4p king.

Floyd at 130, 135, maybe even 140, good offensive skills, at 147 and above, not so much. Partially to do with small, fragile hands, partially to do with not wanting to open up his defense enough to throw bombs, and partially to do with not gaining punching power as he went up in weight.

well im sure he wanted to WIN the fight before he entertained. DLH was MUCH bigger and stronger then him. He had to fight conservative and shoot one punch at a time.

On the flip side, when he was getting paid MUCH MUCH MUCH less to fight guys like BURTON (augustus), Chavez, Ndou, etc, all guys his own size, he was fighting beautifully offensively creating a FOTY candidate and multiple Round OTY condenters in all of those fights.

He displayed much of his offensive arsenal especially against Baldo, did you SEE the first half of hat fight before he hurt his hand? He was fighting alot more cautiously against DLH but if he turned on the heat we would have saw some sparks, like I said the killer instinct is quelled due to his cautious nature.

              Nope watch these fights.

              Chavez
              Corley
              Corrales
              Castillo
              G.Herandez
              Augustus
              Gatti
              Mitchell
              Judah
              N'dou
              Manfredy

Plenty of offense from Mayweather in these fights.

So you're saying the quality of Floyd's offense goes down as the amount of money he makes increases?

Maybe you ought to listen a bit too.
Floyd's offense is limited because of his limited punching power. He knows it and he works around it. That's just a fact. After leaving 135, Floyd has been vulnerable to skilled boxer-punchers and his career since the Castillo II fight has been tailored from this perspective. No need to go into controversial previously well discussed details. Just accept it as fact and move on. Some respect him even more for it. Some don't. It's an essential difference between the Mayweatherites and Floyd critics.

Yeah but does this mean he can only fight very well offensively against average fighters?
