Floyd's offensive skills leave much to be desired.

Why isnt De La Hoya a good offensive opportunity for mayweather when the guy was totally gassed for 3 straight rounds?

May I ask which rounds those were? And I'm sure you'll disagree, but if you're talking later rounds then I'm pretty sure Floyd won those rounds.

What I meant is that how are fights made 5 years ago indicative of one's offensive skills at present? And assuming arguendo that we use them old fights, the way he fought Castillo doesnt make him a boxer with great offensive skills. Hell no.

He is fighting guys much bigger than himself, do you expect him to stand and trade while clearly at a disadvantage in power?

Judah, Mitchell, Gatti, Bruseles, Corley, N'dou, Chavez, Corrales, Burton... all very good offensive performances from Floyd.
Very good offensive performances? Why dont you elevate your standard of a good offensive performance like when KT or Cotto blasted Judah, KT blasted Mitchell, Castillo blasted Corrales etc?

Clearly Floyd isnt as much of an offensive threat like KT, Cotto or Castillo, etc and that's already saying a lot.

So how do rounds 9-12 of the DLH fight make Floyd a great offensive specialist, ******?

Are you kidding me? We are talking about great offensive skills. We have seen plenty of boxers with not-so-great offensive skills who have beaten others bigger or stronger than them.
