The Official DIOS DOMINICANO Commemoration Thread.
At 1:29 am on November 7, 2007, one of the most famous bloggers in Boxing Scene.Com history typed his last utterance:
---------------
"What makes him a **** again?
Being good-looking or f-----g (deletion added) a bunch of strippers?"
--------------
Known for his persistence and downright stubborness in argument, his lengthy posts with published sources, his notorious emboldened red lettering, and his periodic tendency to fabricate, DIOS DOMINICANO has been banned by the ever watchful eye in the sky. When the thread turned red, it was a sure sign that Dios was on a roll, and only a well prepared and knowledgable poster could hold his own when this happened. He was enlightening at times, outrageously biased at times, but most always entertaining.
It's a mystery as to the grounds for his demise, but one can safely assume that he finally crossed the line going to obsessive lengths to prove a point, or in a fit of anger (he could lapse into periods of rhetorical fury when effectively refuted).
We don't know if his banishment is permanent or temporary, but let's hope that it's latter. Dios was good.
