As far as im concerned, Joe is the best boxer in the world.

Yes thats why he embarassed himself against Calzaghe..He simply should not have been in the same ring..

    Glad we agree on that...

I don't think he's the best boxer in the world mind....Maybe the second best..

Moving up abandoning the MW belts, capturing the LHW title and defending it against the sport's second best fighter in coalition with previous accomplishments makes you one of the best. Hell he should be rated higher than 5 easily.
Taylor handed him his ass twice, he lost the belts, didn't abandon them. Although he probably claims otherwise.

You must really regret not being able to see what is so obvious, Joe is the real deal pretty boy in world boxing right now, and will cement his position come dec 8 thanks to the Hitmans demolision of PFB.

I dunno what boxing youv'e been watching.

            Foxy Boxing?

Watch Rafeal Marquez, then watch Juan Manuel Marquez, then Watch Winky, **** sake even oscar de la hoya's boxing skills on may 5th were world class, particulary defenisvely,

Then watch Kessler calzaghe round 4, when he was all over the shop and got hurt a few times,

And then talk about the best fighter in the world.

              DLH? Really? My word.

The Calzaghe of the second half of the Kessler fight and most of the Lacy one transcended the textbook boxing some people can't look past. It was a thing of beauty.

You werent impressed with de la hoya's defence against mayweather on may 5th?

You think oscar didnt box really well in that fight?

Calzaghe fought beautiful at times in that fight, but in round 4 he was all over the shop.

                Simple really.

I thought Oscar was ****, got tagged whenever Mayweather wanted to and couldn't move after the 7th or 8th round.

Calzaghe got tagged a couple of times in the 4th, but name me one boxer that never has.

                    1) Alot of those punches were hitting gloves, mayweather landed the more effective shots, but de la hoya's defense was pure class, no expected him to nearly match mayweather in a tactical boxing contest.

                    2) Calzaghe was hurt in round 4, and got hit throughout the fight with some really bad uppercuts.

                    3) To be fair there was one round, (you know the round) where calzaghe used awesome boxing skills, not just dodging and firing back clapping hooks.
