Whats with all the Hopkins haters?

I don't quite understand why people hate on hopkins. He has proved himself time and time again. What more does he even have to prove? what beat you guys paper champs like calzaghe or haye? Even in his 40's he is still more crafty then both of these guys. There decent fighters but a B-hop they will never be!

By my name, avy and sig alone you should get the idea that I'm a huge Hopkins fan. But don't make threads praising your favorite fighter, talk about how much you like him at times, but don't go out of your way to say "what's with all the hate?" It'll only bring you/them more.

i respect what hopkins has achieved, but that's why i can still dislike him, because of the crap that he is talking, and because of his dirty tactics.

hopkins is my favourite fighter by far. i truly admire him. i am a big fan although sometimes i don't like what he says outside the ring.
