Cotto-Mosley Decision different in Las Vegas?

So would it have been the same decision if this was fought in Las Vegas, instead of N.Y., I have a feeling the judges may have scored it differently, thoughts?

Two of the judges for Cotto/Mosley gave the decision to Cotto by wide margin in the Malignaggi fight. It was closer than they scored it.

In Vegas you got no crowd factor for Cotto, 10oz. gloves, and a ref who isn't "full blood Puerto Rican."

I thought the incident about wiping down the corner at the worst time possible for Mosley was a bit in Miguel's favor.

Of course, Mosely taking the fight in MSG says a lot.

That would have been a definite draw in LV

Only the part when he stopped the action when it appeared Mosley had Cotto in very serious trouble to wipe up a wetspot.

Shortly afterward Mosley slipped on the same wetspot and Estevez allowed the action to continue without any break.

The Puerto Rican media advertised Estevez as an asset before the fight.

              He was.

HAHAHA seeing it in real life was even more funny.

everyone was like "WTF??????????" At that point the PR's died down and some of them started rooting for Shane

Not at all. The PR media were the ones emphasizing Beny's heritage and the implications of that. That's why I put it in quotes.

                  That's what they implied.
