i think he should try to make his next fight in cardiff, the amount of fans he made fighting calzaghe there last time, no doubt he would have most the croud on his side this time, hes probably quite well known in wales now and could fill quite a few seats ...

yeah i think that wouldn't be a bad move, i was there and i have to say that i thought that kessler was going to be grossly outnumbered in fans, and although he didn't have has many as calzaghe, he did have a good turn out for himself. and to boot the fans were worried even in the last round that kessler had a chance, especially when calzaghe kept dropping his hands.
funny thing, kessler and his crew were staying in the same hotel as me and my friends, we got to have a brief chat with him while he was icing his eye and having a drink, nice guy, i didn't want to talk too much about the fight or this and that, the guy was pretty bummed out.
i was going to get a pic but didn't want to make him feel any worse by asking, but it was cool meeting him.
also we seen him in the morning too briefly, we were having beers in the bar down by the lobby and he was going out the door when we were walking in, his whole crew was really nice, they all looked like hells angels and ****, but all were good peeps.
just thought i'd share, peace. -
Cheers for posting. MK does seem like a real stand up guy. Toke the loss like a man and always has time for fans. He'll be back.Comment

He can pull a crowd in Denmark as well. But I understand what your saying.Comment

yeh, it spreads his fan base out a little bit, the welsh would here about the fight and remember him from the joe fight, im sure denish fans would travel again too.
im not sure about the size of the arenas in denmark, but i think cardiff holds 50k ... i recon a kessler fight with a decent opponent in the millennium stadium would sell 30kComment

If Kessler gets a fair offer from either Winky or Taylor I believe he will be fighting in the states the next time. Yes, big fights with big crowds can go down in Denmark, but its rarely good business if they have to pay a high priced competitor to take the trip..
Cardiff? Who should make the event, and against who? Because even if he did win a lot of respect, he would still need to make it his home ground if he wanted to pull the amazing crowd size - right?
Right now, I know “team Palle” got Bute in their sight. Kessler who suffers from a hand injury, is to resume training in 4-5 weeks time when he gets the plaster off, but hopes to be back in early 2008.Comment
