Hey I was one of the ones who thought Cotto would lose, maybe even get knocked out. Too slow, chin wouldn't hold up ect...... I thought it was a great showing by Cotto. Just giving credit where credit is due.

His style is too come forward and presuure you with jabs......its up to the other fighter to make it a fight with winky....Taylor, Vargas, Mosley ****** with Winky and they were all exciting fights.......Winky just gets the balme because of the Tito fight and his reputation before being famous......Hopkins made that fight a stinker by running, clinching and fouling...

I agree for the most part. I wish he would of been a little more agressive and tried to close the show against Tito. I think he might have been able to stop him.

In all honesty I wouldn't even post this before the Mosley fight last Saturday. But after the performance by Cotto I thought it would be worth asking.

Tito's main problem with Winky was that he allowed Winky to wear giantic gloves and was constantly punching Winky's gloves instead of waiting for him to throw and attack first. Cotto MUST NOT USE SAME STRATEGY TO HAVE A SHOT.

tito's problem was that he let winky dictate the fight,you let winky do that he will.tito need to let his hands go instead of spacing out with lean back playing in his head,doing his best bobblehead impersonation.

I remember watching the fitght saying damn, Cotto looks about as fast as Shane. He out jabed shane despite giving a big reach advantage, and speed suposedly. Cotto also boxed well in the fight. It even surprised Shane.

he's just smooth,with very good hand speed,he doesn't need to dart in an out,he is very economical with his punches.he's a very subtle mover.

After the stellar performance put on by Cotto I'm curious to see how members think this match up plays out. Remember Shane gave Winky a run for his money in the rematch. I say Wright takes it using his Jab to keep Cotto at bay.
