that is what i've been saying for years, HW's if they aren't slugging it out are boring as ****, and when they do slug it out it only lasts for a short short while, then if they don't get the win they hug for the remainder of the fight..........lame.

and it's not the cruiser weight division's fault, it's the lack of athletic ability and conditioning, big guys don't condition themselves like the little guys do.

the heavyweight division sucks right now, and until they get guys that fight like a young holyfield or bowe like when those two met, it will continue to suck ass. and there has to be more then just one fighter in the division to make it good again, just like there are tons of good fighters that make the welterweight division so exciting, or featherweights, etc............

current heavyweight status is crap and only getting stinkier.............

i guarantee if all the cruisers where to be at heavy it would be more entertaining.the cruiserweight div was created as a junior div to squeez more money out of boxing.

yeah it would be better to not have a cruiser weight division i would also get rid of supper middle. I have a lot of heavyweight fights from the past and there are some great fights people who say there is only 1 fighter worth watching haven't done there research. I have to admit that a lot of lennox lewis fights were poor i have his whole collection and its the one i hardly ever touch and a lot of the fights in the past 3 years have been rubbish.

the heavy div is always the thinnest adding a div only makes it worst.

yeah it's ****** since vitali left. i mean he was such an incredible, durable, injury-free fighter who beat great opposition.

i mean corrie sanders was young, in-shape, had great stamina, and vitali beat him. he had only lost to super gifted heavyweights, no one on the caliber of a rahman or nate tubbs.

and kirk johnson, he was young, trim, in great shape, and vitali beat him.

danny williams, now he was a proven top contender. he beat a healthy mike tyson faster than anyone else!

herbie hide, what a great chin he had, with great composure.

lennox lewis, he was in good shape and active when he beat vitali, no?

This thread is about CURRENT heavyweights correct? No way is Vitali ever going to make it back.

Yeah I agree with you. The only time I was really interested in the HW division is when Tyson was in his prime and after he got out of prison. There of course have been some really great HW fights of course, but overall it's never really been as competitive as the lower weights
