This is just a little bit about the welterweights right now...

Floyd Mayweather - Is a great boxer, who is to caught up with making money(but lets be honest this is wat boxing is about, not the fact that we wanna see a fight its about cash) than pleasing some of his fans(or more importantly his haters) He has ever punch in the book and can when willing stand and fight with bigger,stronger guys had has been said to have had all the tools from a young age. Most fans prob dont like mayweather because of the stuff he does out of the ring and the way he talks to fighter. Alot of hate more than usual was spoke about floyd after he fought gatti cos he was a cult hero to most fans and floyd showed that he was just a class above gatti and dismantled him

Cotto- Is not a draw! Yes people wanna see cotto and floyd get down in the ring, but lets me honest, Floyd would make more money fighting Antonio than fighting this guy, he has "stepped up" the fights against a guy like Zab who everyone said was his toughest challenge to date, when he was coming off the beating from both Baldy and Mayweather, but when mayweather fought him it ment nothing because he had just lost to Baldy? Fans are a bit confusing at times aint they. He doesnt have wat it takes to beat Floyd at this time either

Williams- Good fighter, skills are lacking a bit, but makes up with heart and chin! Could give Mayweather very big problems, but floyd would also be the fastest, and best fighter he has ever faced and then in return give him problems also

Antonio Margarito - How happy are Tony fans that he got a win well done tony, you beat a guy who is 33(although age doesnt matter) 5'8 with a 70inch reach, and throw about 3 punches at you, now Tony looked GREAT against him, but then again, he looks great on a punch bag to if you get what i mean? The guy will look great against anyone willing to stand and take big wide right hands and uppercuts all nite. Yea the guy is exciting, but saying that he is the best in the division is like saying gatti is goin to get into the Hall Of Fame for his skill level or fighting the best guys lol

Right now i'm gonna have to cut this short have to go to training, but i'll let everyone read and prob say how much i'm wrong ect ect and i'll come back and add more

I understand where you coming from but I think a fight with cotto will be the only one floyd will take. I remember a year or so ago Margarito he wanted to fight mayweather but he turned it down to fight a much easier opponent in baldomir. That tells me right there that floyd doesn't want anything to do with margarito then and i doubt his mind will change. Plus floyd claims he just wants to unify so margarito right now holds no interest. Cotto will be the most available if floyd gets past hatton cause williams and cintron are fighting early next year. I doubt that either cotto or the winner of the Dec 8th fight is gonna wait for the winner of that matchup's winner so they have to fight each other. Most likely it would be Floyd. I'm not disagreeing with cotto not being a major draw but for right now hes the only other champ availiable so that fight is gonna happen if floyd wins and doesn't retire.

I think Cotto is as hot as he is going to get. If beating Zab and mosley in the same yr doesn't make you a draw, then what will. There is really no one else out there to make his drawing power more. he spent most of his career fightin in the wrong division and fighting against nobodies. There is nothing he can do right now to increase his drawing power. I think he is much bigger draw than Margo because actually has fought somebody, 2 recognized fighters who have accomplishments and skills in the ring, margo doesn't have any. In WW division, no one has more drawing power than Cotto other than Floyd at this time.
