why are the lower divisions so disrespected? everytime someone makes a "fight of the year" thread or something like this, they ALWAYS leave out fights like the Vazquez/Marquez fights which are prolly THE best fights of the year.

Vasquez vs Marquez 2 round 3 is tied for round of the year with Bika vs Jaidon 1st round and fight of the year is Kelly Pavlik vs Jermain Taylor imo.

I would actually give the ROTY to Bika/Jaidon, FOTY in my opinion is Vazquez/Marquez because of the level of talent and intesity in all the rounds where as the Taylor/Pavlik, while as equally exciting, really only had about 3 rounds of pure actions.

Yea i understand your point bro i could see an arguement either way i have watched both Marquez vs Vasquez 2 and Pavlik vs Taylor about 50 times i can't wait to see the trilogy between Marquez vs Vasquez it could be up there with great trilogy's like Gatti vs Ward.

Doesn't Mayweather/De La Hoya seem like ages ago? It has been a great year though...
