THAT is one of the big things wrong with boxing and its so called "fans".....the lack of respect for the boxers that is transmitted in statements like this is unreal to me. You think the only fighters who are worth anything are the ones that are famous, unbeaten, or hyped? A guy starts boxing, goes through his amateur career, trains every day, hits and gets hits, works his way up the best he can, gets to fight on NATIONAL TV (something the average fan could only dream of) and yet his whole being is summed up by someone on this board as being that of a "nobody"

Tarver pisses me off. He talks like he is the greatest fighter ever. I love all the excuses that he came up with after the B-hop fight. "I wasn't myself" and all that ****. If you weren't yourself then who the **** were you? It's nobodies fault but his own for not being mentally prepared for the fight.

simple as that. I trained abit boxing amateurs style and it was pretty damn hard. I was the slowest and weakest of the bunch with not stamina and those guy who could outrun me told me that when they get into the ring they lose it much quicker than when they normally trained and I like WFT I got long way to go at least to become average

you couldn't have said it better. tarver is a delusional twat. how desperate is he to be completely blind to the fact that he was shut out by hopkins, a smaller and older hopkins.

i think he's taken one to many hits from the crack pipe........ and now he's saying that he's going to show the world that he's the top light heavyweight champ with his fight coming up, what a tit. he's fighting a guy who was ko'd in his last fight, and dropped twice, and tarver is going to show the world, what now????
