Javier Castillejo in Line For Felix Sturm Trilogy

Spanish veteran Javier Castillejo knocked out Mariano Carrera in Tuesday´s WBA middleweight eliminator in Goppingen. This will probably make Felix Sturm vs. Castillejo III and remove "El Lince" as mandatory challenger for the EBU title - which should pave the way for Finn Amin Asikainen and a third fight against Sebastian Sylvester. Does anyone else find it amazing that two guys that Vargas has beaten since his return in 2005, Castillejo and Raymond Joval are a combined 8-1-1.

Of course, the only loss is Castillejo's decision to Sturm, but that was in a rematch after he stopped sturm to win a middleweight belt! And Vargas dropped this guy in round one and beat him pretty handily.

Vargas gets ripped too much around these parts, but those two wins (particularly Castillejo) are becoming two of his best non-Winky/Quartey/Marquez/Campas victories.
