I keep hearing people on this site making out as though the US is the Mecca of boxing..well if it wasn't for PPV bringing in the money.. they would be nowhere..
They get **** crowds and the quality of their fighters is getting worse..Mayweather aside..
For the size of the country...what is it 6 times the size if England, , they have a crap line up of fighters..
And the attitude of...Come to Amercia to prove yourself , does become a little tired as you have nowhere near the figfhters you used to have..
Most of the young up and coming fighters are not from the US.....they still hold onto the likes of Hopkins who has lost twice to Taylor .. then still rank him above Calzaghe in the P4P listings...
Stop looking at the past and over estimating your own importance...
You get large TV money..HBO etc....due to the size of your country....but as a breading ground for fighters the glory days are over I'm afraid..
