he's like a less offensively gifted margo
even though margo just flails his shots.

Baldomir should be more famous than he is due to his memorable fight with Mayweather. Granted, the fight was memorable for all the wrong reasons namely that it was dull, one-sided and there were more cups thrown by the crowd than there were punches thrown by the boxers but nevertheless Baldo deserves to be recognised for this.

He's got a granite chin and a lot of people don't realize that he's got really good hand speed but his only drawback is he's got two left feet.

Not what Mayweather fans would leave you to believe.

He's a solid fighter who overachieves because of his unreal ability to take a punch. Gatti was outboxing him until he took Gatti's will by continuing to come forward. Forrest beat him 10-2 or 9-3 on my card. He edged out Judah 115-113 and got a career pay day against Floyd. Good for him, but he's slightly above average at best.

I didn't see it that way. He whooped Gatti's ass from the opening bell.

Baldomir has accomplished a lot more at Welter than say, a Marg and he had a longer winning streak stepping in against Judah. He hadn't been beaten in years.. Of course he isn't overrated, he's the former undisputed Welter Weight Champion!
