I continuously say this: Who wants the bet, EVERYTHING I HAVE on Hopkins over Calzaghe should it happen?

im asking when did bhop call out Calzaghe and Cal ducked? they had a fitght almost confirmed and Bhop doubled his demands to back out of it. also, why in the HELL would you want to come to America and fight for 3K people when you can fight at home for 40K people? that would even sound appealing to me if i was the champ.

        I never claimed he ducked.

I claimed he WOULD BE ducking if he didn't come to the States to fight Hopkins. There is no arguing with that. Since when does the LHW champ have to conform to the SMW champ's standards?

Calzaghe is the one moving up in weight for the fight, challenging Hopkins for his belts. Hopkins would never give a **** about the SMW Championship.

          From Boxingtimes.com:
"After being on the business end of Hopkins' ruthless shots for twelve searing rounds, Joppy's face resembled someone with incurable mumps. Both of his cheekbones and entire jaw were swollen to the point that it was difficult to even recognize the former three-time middleweight titleholder.

Hopkins dominated the scoring at distance and repeatedly blasted Joppy with crushing right hands and jackhammer left hooks in close quarters. "

Yeah that looks like a Church group photo compared to how he looked after he fought Trinidad. His face was much worse, and he sustained multiple fractures that sent him to the hospital.

Joppy looks that way after every fight, anyways.

It would be the other way around, and lord knows, Slopkins needs his face rearranged bad, he's one ugly motherphuker. The phony perp and self proclaimed legend would get the **** beat out of him by Calzaghe at any point of their respective careers. Hopkins don't want any part of a live big guy with speed and stamina. He only beats up on welterweights and overrated weight-drained has-beens. I guarantee you Bore-nard ducks Calzaghe, but the money involved may be enought for him to finally consign himself to the beating that he has coming to him.

Gunna be pretty hard to rearrange someones face while they throwing you a beating though, maybe sum1 should explain to Hopkins, getting a bit daft in his old age.

ionno, changing your terms all of a sudden right before confirming the contract is mighty suspect. plus, we all know BHOP aint the BHOP he was before. the Winky fight proved that. I didnt like watching BHOP trying to teach Winky the Waltz. Time will tell though. I got Calzaghe by decision thoug I dont doubt BHOP edging him out pulling a Casamayor.

What belts are those that Hopkins has exactly?

Always the same bull**** from Hopkins. He makes loud noice before the fight and the Yanks believe him everytime, and everytime it is the same: Big mouth, bad fight.
Calzaghe is a modest guy, doen't do any trashtalk but in the ring he makes noise. Great fight against Lacy, great fight against Kessler.
I just hope 4 Hopkins that Joe will give him a bad beating (sure he will do) and that Joe will rearrange this ugly face.

And stop calling Bernard the undisputed champ. Calzaghe is the undisputed champ, Hopkins was undisputed @MW but beating a over-the-hill one-hit-wonder without a title doesn't make you undisputed. You can make a chace for Hopkins being the linear Chapion @LHW, but there is also the other guy Erdei which can claim to be the man. (the man who beat the man, who beat the man).
